Benjamin Bakst

Chief Executive Officer | Principal

Prior to co-founding Marlin Spring, Mr. Bakst was Executive Vice President of Lanterra Developments for ten years. He helped build Lanterra into one of the largest real estate development firms in the Greater Toronto Area. With a strong focus on the construction of high-rise development projects, Mr. Bakst was also involved in leading Lanterra’s property management and finance divisions. Upon Lanterra’s assumption of H&R Development’s residential construction high-rise division in 2010, Mr. Bakst assumed the lead role of Lanterra’s high-rise construction division. Mr. Bakst received his CPA designation in the state of New Jersey in 2005.

Elliot Kazarnovsky

Chief Financial Officer | Principal

Prior to co-founding Marlin Spring, Mr. Kazarnovsky was Chief Financial Analyst at Lanterra Developments for five years. His responsibilities during his tenure included projecting the economic feasibility of all of Lanterra’s projects as well as the maintenance of the financial requirements for Lanterra’s projects and management companies. Mr. Kazarnovsky holds a degree in finance and graduated with distinction in 2004.
