Pedro Lopes serves as Chief Executive Officer of Marlin Spring Developments, bringing close to 20 years of experience across the public and private sides of real estate. He began his career as a community planner with the City of Toronto, where he gained firsthand insight into municipal policy, land use, development review and the regulatory landscape that shapes urban growth. He later joined Minto Communities as Director of Development, leading residential projects through the full development cycle and sharpening his expertise in site acquisition, planning, and execution.
Pedro first joined Marlin Spring in 2018 first serving as Vice President, Land Development and then Senior Vice President, Development and Acquisitions before being appointed CEO in 2023. Drawing on this diverse foundation, Pedro now leads Marlin Spring Developments’ strategic vision and overall operations across the platform, guiding the company’s growth and its commitment to building thoughtful, well-planned communities.
